This is it, the moment we have been waiting all day for. You can feel the excitement every single time these two teams line up against each other, there just is nothing else like the Oakland Raiders taking on the Kansas City Chiefs. This is in fact the last time the Chiefs will be at Oakland Coliseum unless there is a playoff game between the two teams and you can bet Jon Gruden and the Raiders know the historical significance of this one.
The Raiders are coming in fresh off a hot start against the Denver Broncos but they will need every bit of energy they had last Monday again here against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. There are no bigger games each year than the ones against Kansas City so it will be great to see what Derek Carr and Oakland have up their sleeves here today.
There are not very many week 2 matchups as meaningful as this one. A victory for the Raiders here means a huge 2-0 start in the always competitive AFC West. There is no doubt that Andy Reid and the Chiefs will make it as difficult as possible for the Raiders to come out with the big Week 2 victory, but if the Raiders can repeat their Week 1 performance they have a chance against anybody.
Without any further ado, here it goes people! It is time for the Raiders to take on the Chiefs one last time in Oakland. Let’s all hope they go out with one hell of a bang!
