NFL: Atlanta Falcons at Philadelphia Eagles James Lang-USA TODAY Sports

Rounding out the last of this Sunday’s NFL football we have the Atlanta Falcons taking on the Philadelphia Eagles. A battle of the birds if you will, and a pretty interesting match up with both having high flying offenses.

The Eagles have a rejuvenated Carson Wentz who is eager to show he is worth the big money contract he signed this offseason in Philly. He also has a shiny new toy at receiver with 31 year old DeSean Jackson showing last week he can still take the top off a defense with his still elite speed. They also have rookie running back Miles Sanders who looked good in limited opportunities last week so fantasy football players will be eager to see if he can take a step forward in Philadelphia’s current running back by committee approach.

The Falcons on the other hand have the tried and true duo of QB Matt Ryan and WR Julio Jones, along with RB Devonta Freeman who will be looking to get on track after being bottled up last week against the Vikings. They also have last year’s first round pick WR Calvin Ridley who will be looking to build on his nice game last week where he had 4 receptions for 64 yards a touchdown.

With these two powerful offenses this game has a chance to become a highly entertaining shootout. It should hopefully be a good game to close out the 2nd Sunday of the 2019 season, chat here while all the action unfolds.
