Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey has once again made his demands to be traded known. This time following a public blowup between he and his head coach Doug Marrone. It seems the relationship may be beyond repair and therefore Ramsey could be dealt soon.
There are plenty of teams who would be interested in Ramsey. The Raiders are no exception. The primary sticking point, however, could be what the Jaguars would be asking in return in a trade. Rumors are they are looking for a couple first round picks, which is a lot even for a player with Ramsey’s immense talent, but questionable character.
As with anything like that, the Vegas oddsmakers actually put numbers on where they see Ramsey going. The odds on favorite is for Ramsey to remain in Jacksonville. Should he be dealt, the favorite is the Chiefs at +250. Next up are the Raiders and Patriots at +600 according to Bovada.
Updated odds for what team @jalenramsey will be on after the 2019 NFL trade deadline (Bovada):
— Odds Shark (@OddsShark) September 18, 2019
Jaguars +200
Chiefs +250
Raiders +600
Patriots +600
Seahawks +1100
Eagles +1100
Packers +1100
Browns +1100
Cowboys +1100
49ers +1100
For the Chiefs, they have been going all-in to bulk up their defense in order to make a run at the Patriots. They added the likes of Frank Clark and Tyrann Mathieu this offseason, but if they could keep it going, they will.
Their offense is plenty proven. The Raiders got burnt badly by their division rivals last week to the tune of four touchdowns in one quarter. If they are to keep that from continually happening, adding an All Pro talent like Ramsey would be a good way to do it.
