Sunday Night Football open thread: Rams at Browns

NFL: Cleveland Browns at St. Louis Rams Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

Closing out the night we have the Los Angeles Rams taking on the Cleveland Browns for Sunday Night Football. Clearly the schedule makers are expecting big things from the 1-1 Cleveland Browns with two prime time games in a row for them after taking on the Jets last Monday as well. They will be eager to replicate their game they had against the Jets where they won handily behind a monster game from O’dell Beckham.

It won’t be as easy this time around though with Jared Goff’s Rams behind the superior team, far better than the Jets squad that was missing Sam Darnold. Oh yeah, and they have a guy you might have heard of at running back too by the name of Todd Gurley. The high powered Rams offense doesn’t even feature their biggest star though, that trophy goes to DT Aaron Donald who is widely considered the best defensive player in the NFL.

Baker Mayfield and the Browns will have their hands full taking on the Aaron Donald led defense, and they will absolutely need to prove that OBJ’s huge game is the rule and not the exception. If the Browns can come up with the surprise victory over last year’s NFC champion then you can bet the hype train that got derailed after a horrible week 1 will get right back up to full speed in Cleveland.

You can chat right here with your fellow Raiders fans while we see if Cleveland can earn the hype surrounding them all off-season tonight against the Rams.
