After feeling shaky with several injury statuses throughout the week, the Raiders are feeling a little better Friday. Several players who were limited on Wednesday and/or Thursday were full participants Friday and were removed from the injury report altogether.
Among those was Benson Mayowa who suffered a knee injury Thursday. It turned out to be a little scare and he appears to be fine.
Also linebackers Vontaze Burfict and Nicholas Morrow’s status was in question throughout the week and they too were full go and removed from the injury report. Their injury status as well as that of Marquel Lee who was sent to injured reserve caused the team to add two linebacker to the active roster this week. They signed Dakota Allen off the Rams practice squad and called up their own practice squad linebacker Justin Phillips. But they may not need them for this game with Burfict and Morrow healthy.
We knew Gabe Jackson and Dwayne Harris wouldn’t be playing as they missed all week with injuries.
The right side of the offensive line is officially questionable, but Gruden said he expects both Trent Brown and Jordan Devey to play.
Officially OUT for the Colts are starting safety Malik Hooker and starting linebacker Darius Leonard. Starting receiver TY Hilton is doubtful.
Starting cornerback Pierre Desir returned to practice Friday as did starting defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad. Both are questionable for the game.
