It’s game time here in Week 4, and the consequences of this game couldn’t be much bigger for such an early season game. If the Oakland Raiders win against the Indianapolis Colts today they climb back to .500 at 2-2, but if they lose they fall to the dreaded 1-3 which makes any chance at the playoffs plummet. Que the Jim Mora “Playoffs?!” gif now, actually I will just do it myself.
That will never get old.
Anyway, the Raiders absolutely need to win this game or this train could really fall all the way off the tracks. It is going to take a heavy dose of Rookie of the Year candidate Josh Jacobs and the defense we saw in Week 1 against the Broncos for Oakland to have a chance in this one against the Jacoby Brissett led Colts.
We have seen time and time again that when the silver and black go one dimensional and rely on Derek Carr that the team falls apart. Here’s hoping to this game not turning into yet another example on the long list of games where that ends up happening.
Either way, chat here with your fellow Raiders fans while we either bask in the glory of hope being restored for this season or dwell in the misery that so loves company. Here is hoping for the former, because there have been way too many seasons in modern times of the latter.
