It started with rookier tight end Foster Moreau with two catches and a touchdown on the opening drive and kept going from there. Next it was newcomer Trevor Davis with a big touchdown run.
With all the injuries to the Raiders causing shakeups at various positions, it was impossible to know who would step up for them in this game. Mostly it didn’t look like they would have the firepower on either side of the ball to get it done. But they did, not just on the offensive side of the ball, but on defense as well.
They came in with just one takeaway on the season and added two in this game to win the turnover battle 2-1. Maxx Crosby forced a fumble and Erik Harris had his clutch pick six to seal the win.
I hop on the horn to discuss what kind of accomplishment this was for this upstart Raiders team.
