Raiders vs Broncos week one Thursday injury report: Antonio Brown absent for ‘conduct’ as fate in limbo

NFL: Preseason-Green Bay Packers at Oakland Raiders Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The first injury report is usually another reason to get hype as it’s a sign the Raiders season is getting closer. Unfortunately that’s been muddied up with Antonio Brown’s status suddenly, and once again, up in the air.

The oft controversial wide receiver got into it with GM Mike Mayock in practice the other day because Brown was pissed about getting a couple fines for missing practices. So, of course, he’s now missing another practice. How appropriate that the very first injury report has the guy who missed all of camp as “Not injury related - conduct”

Gabe Jackson was the only other Raiders player not practicing as he is expected to miss the first few games with a knee injury. Denzelle Good is slated to start at right guard in his place.

The Broncos were without LB Todd Davis, FB Andy Janovich, and LB Joseph Jones.

This is the first of three injury reports this week. The practice days are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday because of the Monday Night opener.
