Rodney Hudson named to AP All-Pro second-team

Raiders star center Rodney Hudson has been awarded a spot on the AP second-team All Pro squad.

Hudson was unable to beat out Eagles center Jason Kelce for the top spot, but he is still valued by AP writers as the best in the AFC, and the only Raider on either team.

Hudson has been the heart and soul of a much improved Raiders offensive line, and the team has got to be thrilled that he’s signed through the 2022 season after extending him this offseason.

Kelce led the voting with 29 first-place votes, while Hudson had nine, and Pittsburgh Steeler’s center Maurkice Pouncey earned four votes.

Other Raiders players receiving votes include Darren Waller (1 flex vote), and Trent Brown (2 right tackle votes).
