Contact tracing is underway; they’re coming off a bye and players were off Tuesday, so minimal recent contact. Facility is open and practice begins shortly.
Brown is the second Raiders player to be put on this list this week after returning from the bye. Rookie cornerback Damon Arnette — who is out with a thumb injury — was placed on the list Monday. Players who are put on the list either have tested positive or have been in close contact to someone who has tested positive for the coronavirus. Raiders defensive tackle Maurice Hurst was taken off the list this week, after being on it for nearly two weeks.
Brown will almost certainly miss, at the very least, Sunday night’s home game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after being a big part of the Week 5 win at Kansas City in the Raiders’ last game. He missed all but one series of the first four games of the season with a calf injury.
Sunday is set to be the ninth game Brown has missed since signing a four-year, $66 million deal in March, 2019. Sam Young will probably play for Brown while he is out.
In the meantime, the Raiders wait to see if there is any more issues with the coronavirus leading up to Sunday’s game.
