It’s been a pretty good two-week stretch for the Las Vegas Raiders. A road victory over the defending Super Bowl champs, followed by a bye week to recuperate before getting back on the field? That’ll make most fans pretty happy.
Like you, for instance. You might consider yourself part of that “most fans” group. And if so, now’s a great time to sign up for SB Nation Reacts, so you can make your voice heard on all matters surrounding the Raiders.
For instance, like the direction the team is heading as we approach Week 7. Forget for a minute that the Raiders are dealing with some coronavirus protocol shenanigans, and let’s go back to that thrilling Week 5 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. After that win and the week off, a whopping 100% of Raiders fans are confident in the direction of the team, according to the latest Reacts survey.
Not sure if you knew this, but 100% is a pretty large percent.
After dispatching of Patrick Mahomes, the Raiders get another famous quarterback this Sunday: Tom Brady. NFL fans voted the game as one of the most anticipated matchups of the week, earning 12% of the fan vote. They also expressed confidence that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will win, so that will make the result a little more sweet when that doesn’t happen ...
Also, if you need to laugh between now and Sunday, have I got something for you. NFL fans were asked to stack up the 0-6 New York Jets to some other futile teams in NFL history. And those fans think the Jets are the absolute worst of the bunch, proving yet again that one of the best thing about being a Raiders fan is that you don’t have to be a Jets fan.
I’ll drink to that.
