Practice squad additions usually don’t move the radar at all, but a Raiders’ transaction on Tuesday should get some national attention.

Among their moves was to add former Oklahoma State cornerback Kemah Siverand to the practice squad.

Why is this newsworthy?

Siverand was in the news this summer for trying to sneak a woman into the Seattle Seahawks’ hotel during training camp while, due to coronavirus guidelines, there were no visitors allowed. Making the story humorous, Siverand had the woman wear official team clothing to make it appear like she was staying at the hotel. The Seahawks were not amused and quickly cut Siverand.

He has since apologized and now he gets a second chance with the Raiders.

Here’s hoping Siverand soon gets his own apartment in Vegas.
