The Las Vegas Raiders got some incremental good injury news on Friday when the team listed rookie starting wide receiver Bryan Edwards as questionable to play Sunday at the Cleveland Browns. By Wednesday, Raiders coach Jon Gruden said Edwards was doubtful to play, so that qualifies as progress.

Edwards has been out since suffering ankle and foot injuries in a Week 3 defeat at the New England Patriots. He returned to the practice field this week and he practiced all week on a limited basis.

Edwards, the third-round draft pick from South Carolina, began the season as a starter. He has five catches for 99 yards this season. He will likely be at the top of receiver rotation a long with fellow rookie Henry Ruggs III and veteran Nelson Agholor, who has been he team’s most dynamic receiver this season as a free-agent pickup.

Meanwhile, third-year pass rusher Arden Key is listed as doubtful to face the Browns. He has missed all week due to a foot injury. Key has no sacks this season and just three sacks in 29 NFL games.

There are no other Las Vegas players listed on the injury report heading into the Cleveland game.
