The Raiders finally got some good injury news by making middle linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski active for Week 4 game against the Buffalo Bills.
Kwiatkoski hasn’t played since he injured his pec in Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers. He practiced partially all week, so the Raiders were hopeful he would be able to play.
Meanwhile, right tackle Trent Brown (calf) and rookie wide receiver Henry Ruggs III (hamstring) are not active. They were both listed as doubtful to face the Bills on the injury report. Brown hasn’t played since being injured on the first series of Week 1. This is the eighth game since the start of last season that Brown has missed. Ruggs also missed last week’s game at New England.
Fellow rookie starting receiver Bryan Edwards is out with an ankle injury that may cost him multiple games. Nelson Agholor, Zay Jones and Hunter Renfrow will play a lot against the Bills. Sam Young will start for Brown at right tackle.
The other inactive Raiders on Sunday are wide receiver Rico Gafford, safety Dallin Leavitt, and guard Patrick Omameh
Running back Theo Riddick and receiver Keelan Doss were promoted from the practice squad for the game.
