The Las Vegas Raiders began to take activate players from the NFL’s reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday when linebacker Cory Littleton returned to practice, per the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

However, the newspaper also reported defensive end Clelin Ferrell and slot cornerback Lamarcus Joyner are still on the list. They can be removed from the COVID list any time before Sunday’s game at the Atlanta Falcons and still be eligible to play.

UPDATE: Raiders’ coach Jon Gruden said Ferrell may be back in the building Thursday, but Gruden said he is not confident Ferrell can play Sunday.

Littleton has missed the past two games after tested positive for the coronavirus. Littleton, an expensive free agent addition who has struggled this season, was replaced by Nicholas Morrow while he was out and Morrow played well. It wouldn’t be a shock if Littleton and Morrow share time against the Falcons.

Right tackle Trent Brown and backup running back Theo Riddick are also on the reserve list. Brown is expected to be out for another two or three weeks.

Also, defensive tackle Maurice Hurst practiced Wednesday after missing the past three games with an ankle injury. He did practice all of last week on a limited basis, but did not play against Kansas City.

UPDATE: Rookie cornerbacks Damon Arnette and Amik Robertson both missed practice Wednesday due to unspecified illness.
