NFL Tricked Me Again

Once again they got me and now I can say I'm done. The next super bowl I watch will be the Raiders in it and from the looks of it, that ain't EVER gonna happen. I can not believe what I just saw. Kyle Shanahan calling plays like he's brain dead. I knew something was afoot when there was 8 minutes left with the 49ers up by only ten and Joe Buck said the chiefs would have a tough time trying to come back and win it. Really Joe? Something miraculous always seems to happen in super bowls nowadays that didn't used to happen back when it was legitimate. It all starts with that impossible 3rd and long pass to Hill. Okay, so in that situation where all the dbacks drop back, how in the hell does a receiver run, stop, turn around and wait for the ball to get to him to catch it? Unbelievable. I'm at a loss for words. How does that happen?

That's not a rhetorical question. If anybody knows, clue me in because you know I'm convinced the shit was rigged anyway. Then you've got Shanahan calling pass plays as if the run stopped working down the stretch. The only time he should have called pass is when it was a 4th and long and it was a last resort. Instead he decides to put the damn game on Garoppolo's shoulders when he knows good and damn well that he had over a minute plus to run down the clock, get close to the endzone and had 3 time outs to play with. Shanahan pulled the same shit in super bowl 51 and he did the same again here. So now he aided the NFL in getting the patriots to 6 super bowls and then aided the NFL in anointing Patrick Mahomes. He's a jobber head coach that is used to put other teams over. FUCKING DONE! I could not be any more done.

As a Raider fan, how do you expect me to sit down and subject myself to watching the Raiders be second fiddle to a budding NFL dynasty with the Chiefs? There is no chance in hell of that ever happening unless hell freezes over. And I had already given up watching Raiders/Chiefs games because there was no point. Now if I'm lucky, I'm gonna be an old middle aged man before I get to enjoy any Raider games without the chiefs owning the division and that's a big if with the way the Raiders are treated in this sham of league. From the bottom of my heart, I feel bad for all the devoted Raider fans that are going to subject themselves to the torture that awaits them. I'll continue to support from far away. VERY far away. Buckle up. This is gonna be ugly.

And no I will not watch if Brady is the QB. The very thought makes me violently ill.
