Detroit Lions cornerback Darius Slay has made it clear he wants to be traded.
Raider Nation has taken notice, including by, at least, one player. Las Vegas second-year cornerback Trayvon Mullen tweeted at the unhappy Detroit CB on Wednesday. Mullen noticed that Slay recently made his Twitter background a photo of him in Oakland last season. Thus, he started this Twitter thread:
I’m feeling that picture behind the profile ♂️ or am I tripping

I’m here for it bro ♂️ https://t.co/nal7TcfBqY

What to make of it?
Not much. NFL players do this type of social-media play all the time.
Would Slay like to play for the Raiders? Sure, but he likely would want to play anywhere but Detroit right now.
Plus, these type of players’ game-playing means very little in the grand scheme.
Yes, the Raiders would probably love to get Slay to play opposite of Mullen. But it will come down to Slay’s salary and trade compensation.
But, for now, this is fun.
