Do you think the Raiders should draft Javon Kinlaw? Well what if the Atlanta Falcons don’t want that? A report by Benjamin Allbright, which could just as well be a hypothetical scenario to discuss rather than an emphatically important rumor to be believed, hypothesizes that the Falcons want to move up about 5-6 spots for Kinlaw — who seems to be moving higher and higher up draft boards by the day.
Source i talked to believed they want to move to 11 or 10 for Kinlaw. https://t.co/OCfEnf9U6u

Of course, Las Vegas is another team who could be interested by Kinlaw and they happen to draft 12th, right after where Atlanta supposedly wants to jump up to. The Raiders signed Maliek Collins in the offseason and drafted P.J. Hall, Maurice Hurst in 2018, with Johnathan Hankins also in the fold, but none of them could have the pass rushing upside of Kinlaw. In comparing him to Auburn’s Derrick Brown, most say that while Brown is much more polished and a clear standout in run defense, Kinlaw has a considerably higher ceiling and can get to the QB in ways that Brown isn’t expected to should he reach his potential.
What if Kinlaw falls to 12 and the Falcons are rebuffed by every team before the Raiders? The point difference in picks 12 and 16 is 200 points per the Jimmy Johnson chart. Atlanta’s third round pick at 78th overall ... is the pick in the draft that is worth exactly 200 points.
Would the Raiders entertain moving down four spots to add pick 78?
Would the Raiders let Kinlaw get past them if the draft board was just right?
