Last week, we looked how the Jets loss of Robby Anderson in free agency could put them in the market to take a wide receiver at No. 11 in the draft.
That would be a buzz kill for the Raiders because receiver is their biggest need and they have the No. 12 pick. This year’s receiver class is expected to be epic and no receivers are expected to go in the top 10 picks. So, the Jets could block the Raiders from having their top choice ... Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs III and CeeDee Lamb are considered the top available.
By Wednesday, though, Jets’ general manager Joe Douglas gave a hint that New York might take an offensive tackle at No. 11.
A hint, perhaps, from Jets GM Joe Douglas about his intentions early in the NFL Draft?:

"I think there’s a real shortage of quality offensive linemen in the NFL, so we’re going to do our best to get as many quality ones as we can because you can never have too many."
Clearly, that would make the Raiders happy. I think it’s plausible as well.
In my latest mock draft, I have three tackles doing in the top 11, with Louisville’s Mekhi Becton going to the Jets. As I wrote Monday, I have Lamb heading to the Raiders at No. 12.
If the Jets do go with a tackle, this scenario seems even more possible.
