Baylor wide receiver Denzel Mims has been ascending up NFL draft boards after a strong showing at the Senior Bowl and at the combine — and the Raiders are among the teams studying him closely.
According to an NFL source, the Raiders had a “virtual” draft visit with Mims and have been in contact with him.

Mims could be a target for the Raiders at No 19 if they go for a cornerback at No. 12. He could also be in play if the Raiders trade down in the first round. Coming off 66 catches for 1,020 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior in 2019, Mims is projected to go in the 21-30 range.
Mims is one of the faster receivers in the draft and the Raiders are reportedly looking for speed at the position.
