Should Raiders consider making a trade for Leonard Fournette?

What would the price be for the Jaguars veteran running back?

Several veterans may change teams this week either before or during the NFL draft.

It happens every year, and why should 2020 be any different even with a virtual draft?

Here is a list of potential veterans — courtesy of ESPN’s Field Yates and Adam Schefter — who could be on the move this week:

There have been many reports saying the Jacksonville Jaguars are shopping Fournette, but haven’t gotten many suitors.

The Raiders will likely be in the market for a running back this weekend, they need a big backup for Josh Jacobs. They could use a mid-round pick on a running back.

But could they turn to Fournette instead? He certainly fits the bill as a big back at 6 foot and 228 pounds.

Fournette, the No. 4 overall draft pick in 2017, has been good, but not great for the Jaguars. He had 1,152 yards rushing last season. He has averaged and even 40 yards per carry in three NFL seasons.

At 25, he is set to make $4.1 million this season and could be a free agent next year.

While Fournette would fit the Raiders and make their running back group better, I’m not sure it’s worth them making a trade unless the Jaguars would take the Raiders’ fifth-round pick.

But it’s a solid draft class for running backs this season and the Raiders might be better off drafting their own player, developing him and spending less money.

What are your thoughts on a potential Fournette pursuit?
