As with other rumors from unusual or new sources, take this with a grain of salt. But the talk of the Las Vegas Raiders as rumored trade partners for Yannick Ngakoue on Wednesday evening was happening in the comments section elsewhere so we might as well create its own post.
So yeah, apparently the Raiders might be talking to the Jacksonville Jaguars about trading for Ngakoue, according to a guy who writes at WalterFootball.com.
Per league sources, the Raiders and Jaguars are close to a trade for DE Yannick Ngakoue.

- The Raiders are offering pick 19 and the Jaguars want pick 12.
- Some sources think Jacksonville won't get a better offer than pick 19. https://t.co/SkwkpCc7GV
The Jaguars gave Ngakoue the franchise tag this offseason, meaning that he would be acquired on a one-year deal that would likely need to be extended. So Ngakoue will be expensive not only in picks (rumored to be 19th overall) but in the classic sense of the word too: money. As of now, the Raiders have $8.1 million in cap space per OvertheCap.com.
Ngakoue’s franchise tag hit is $17.7 million.
A third round pick in 2016, Ngakoue has posted at least eight sacks in all four seasons of his career in Jacksonville. He had 41 tackles, 15 QB hits, 13 TFL, one interception, four forced fumbles, and eight sacks in 15 games last year. He is healthy, consistent, and two years ago he had 33 QB hits. Three years ago he had 12.5 sacks. And he only turned 25 less than a month ago.
