The 2020 NFL Draft is finally here, the three-day event beginning with the first round on Thursday night (5 p.m. PT, ESPN, NFL Network, ABC). The Raiders have two of the first 19 picks.

No. 12 overall is the Raiders’ standard selection, after finishing 7-9 in 2019. They’ve had the 12th pick twice in draft history, and took a defensive back from the state of Texas in both years — Patrick Bates out of Texas A&M in 1993, and D.J. Hayden out of Houston in 2013.

The Raiders also pick 19th, a pick they received from the Bears in the Khalil Mack trade. Las Vegas also gets a third-round pick this year — No. 81 overall — from that deal, though that pick will come Friday. The last time the Raiders picked 19th overall was 1974, when they took tackle Henry Lawrence out of Florida A&M, who played his entire 14-year career with the team.

Teams have 10 minutes between picks in the first round.

Five teams have multiple picks in the first round Thursday night: the Raiders, Jaguars, Vikings, 49ers, and Dolphins (Miami has three picks Thursday). Draft coverage begins at 5 p.m. PT, televised on ESPN, NFL Network, and ABC.
