The draft has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still talk about draft news and rumors. The Raiders held their ground and drafted at 12 & 19, however they almost made a draft night trade that would have brought in a lot more picks.

According to NBC Sports’ Peter King, he says that Tampa’s general manager Jason Licht offered the Raiders the No. 14 overall pick, a third-round, fifth-round and sixth-round pick for the Raiders’ No. 12 pick and their third-round pick at No. 81.

This just solidifies that the Raiders really had their eyes set on drafting Henry Ruggs. The Buccaneers would’ve taken Tristan Wirfs at 12, meaning even if the 49ers took a wide receiver at 13, Vegas still would have had two of the main guys still on the board.
