The 2020 NFL draft has been over for 72 hours, so, naturally, let’s talk about next year’s draft.

You’re in luck as we have you covered at SB Nation. The excellent Dan Kadar is offering his first 2021 NFL draft.

Of course, Kadar realizes that is awfully early and many things will change, but he takes a great shot.

He used the draft order by using the latest Super Bowl odds.

Anyway, onto what you care about — Kadar has the Raiders picking ninth overall, taking a quarterback: Jamie Newman of Georgia. Here is Kadar’s explanation:

My thoughts: I get that people want to connect a quarterback to the Raiders. It will continue until Carr takes this team to the next level. If the Raiders win with Carr in 2020, they won’t be picking at No. 9 and they won’t be drafting a quarterback in 2021. If not, all bets are off.
