Matt Miller of Bleacher Report dropped an interesting note on the Raiders over the weekend.
Miller said the Raiders are considering in taking a defensive tackle and may do so at No. 19 Here is what Miller had to say:
If that is the case, the question is who is going to be available at No. 19 at defensive tackle?
The two highest regarded interior defensive linemen are Auburn’s Derrick Brown and South Carolina’s Javon Kinlaw. They will very likely both be gone by the time the 19th pick rolls along. TCU’s Ross Blacklock, Texas A&M’s Justin Madubuike and Auburn’s Marlon Davidson could all be lower first-round options. But No. 19 may be too high from. If the Raiders are locked in on a defensive tackle, they will probably look to trade down.
The theory that the Raiders are looking to upgrade at defensive tackle is another indication that they may be souring on 2018 second-round pick P.J. Hall. The team did add likely starter Maliek Collins in free agency, but he only signed for a season.
