I’m glad we wrote this article about Jaylon Johnson on Tuesday as the idea of him becoming a Las Vegas Raider is picking up steam.

Johnson himself moved that train along Wednesday. Appearing as a guest on a Bleacher Report podcast hosted by NFL draft expert Matt Miller, the Utah All-American cornerback was asked who he thinks he will be drafted by.

After laughing and saying he was being put on the spot, Johnson said he thinks he’s going to be drafted by the Raiders. It’s good stuff.

The hosts loved it, agreeing that he is a Mike Mayock-type player. OnTuesday, we examined the idea based off Evan Silva’s mock draft that has Johnson headed to the Raiders at No. 19.

In that piece, we noted that Johnson said he has intel to believe he will be taken in the first round. Apparently, that intel involves the Raiders.

Will it happen? We’ll get our answer in 15 days.
