On Monday, multiple states announced a plan for professional sports to return in the coming weeks. That was a strong indication that the NFL is on pace to start on time, whether fans are allowed in stadiums or not.
Then on Tuesday — in another sign that there may be NFL football this summer — the Raiders announced that their 2020 preseason schedule is set.
Here it is:
Aug. 13 at Seattle Seahawks, 7 p.m.
Aug. 21 at San Francisco 49ers, 7 p.m.
Aug. 27 Arizona Cardinals, 7:30 p.m.
Sept. 3 Los Angeles Rams, 7 p.m.
Unless there is a surge in the coronavirus pandemic, these preseason games should be played.
Again, each day, we get a little more hope. I’m all in.
