Yes, technically, Tuesday is the first day of the 2020 NFL training camp for the Las Vegas Raiders. But it is far from a usual day.
Players are reporting to camp, but it is starting a slow process. The Las Vegas Review Journal laid out the team’s activities for Day 1: COVID-19 tests and Zoom meetings.
@Raiders schedule for today is players checking in and getting tested followed by a 1:30 pm zoom meeting.

It’s not much, but in these strange times, it is some progress. Each day will be an exercise in baby steps for the next couple of weeks.
Coronavirus testing will be the primary activity for the Raiders and all NFL teams for the next week or so. The plan is for the players to get on the actual practice field in mid-August as the Raiders prepare for their Sept. 13 season opener at the Carolina Panthers.
Several players around the NFL opted out of the season on Tuesday, but no Raiders have, so far. Monday, Aug. 3, is the opt-out deadline date.
Here’s @ESPN’s running list of @NFL players who have opted out of the season. Hightower brings the total to 9. https://t.co/TOJVMoJygm https://t.co/R0HNXPaI1L

While the process will be tedious, Raiders’ second-season receiver Hunter Renfrow admitted that he has the usual pre-camp nerves.
Sitting here on the eve of camp with jitters like I’m about to play a game!! All I have tomorrow is a Covid test and zoom meeting, but can’t wait to get this thing started!! #LetsGo #Daybyday

Hopefully, we will see Renfrow and his teammates on the field soon.
