The Las Vegas Raiders signed free-agent running back Theo Riddick to a one-year contract on Saturday, according to Rob Demovsky.

Riddick last played for the Detroit Lions in 2018. He missed all of 2019. He’s spent all six of his seasons in Detroit, racking up some pretty decent numbers. In 84 career games, Riddick has rushed for over 1,000 yards with five touchdowns, averaging 3.6 yards per rush attempt.
His damage has come in the passing game, where he’s an elite pass catcher. He’s caught 285 passes for 2,238 yards on 369 targets. He’s also caught 14 touchdown passes. For Riddick, he’s averaged 3.4 catches per game on 4.4 targets per game.
