The Las Vegas Raiders watched as right tackles Trent Brown and Sam Young both left their Week 1 game against the Carolina Panthers with injuries. The same happened to linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski. While none of those players has been given a dire diagnosis and it seems that the Raiders may have escaped what could have been a costly victory without long-term injuries to those players, it’s possible that none of them were practicing on Thursday.
That is what The Athletic’s Tashan Reed posted at least, having said that he didn’t see Brown, Young or Kwiatkoski practicing with the team on Thursday.
Don't see Trent Brown, Nick Kwiatkoski or Sam Young at practice for the #Raiders. All three left the game against the Panthers last Sunday.

The Raiders got 45 snaps from Denzelle Good on Sunday and he seems in line to start again if Brown and Young are unable to go. With the Trent Brown situation potentially even becoming a “situation” according to some, Good could continue to earn reps regardless.
Kwiatkoski got “good” news this week that he didn’t tear his pectoral muscle, expecting a return by Monday could be unjustifiably optimistic. As a five-year veteran signed to a free agent deal in the offseason, Kwiatkoski may be able to stick as a last minute decision without practice but the team has Raekwon McMillan in the background waiting if needed. Nicholas Morrow played 46 snaps in the opener, 22 for Kwiatkoski and six for McMillan.
