The Las Vegas Raiders have activated Javin White from the practice squad ahead of their Monday Night Football game against the New Orleans Saints. Though White entered the 2020 draft as a linebacker, it was known that his versatility would be an asset to helping him make a team as an undrafted free agent; the Raiders did note him as a “DB” in their announcement of his activation tonight.

White is a native of Oakland and played at nearby UNLV, so to play his first career game as a pro in the first ever NFL game in Las Vegas ... is a storyline you might hear tonight.
Teams are able to activate up to two players from the practice squad for game day per new rules for 2020. This does not mean it has been a common practice or that those players activated will play significant roles on offense or defense. This could indicate a need for safety depth against the Saints and/or someone to fill up snaps on special teams.
