In good news that we expected, the NFL Network is reporting that Raiders rookie starting wide receiver Henry Ruggs III should be on the field against the New Orleans Saints tonight.

It has been pointing to this result since the Alabama product practiced Saturday for the first team in preparation to play the Saints. However, Ruggs was still listed as questionable on the injury report after practice Saturday.

Ruggs hurt his knee just before halftime in the Raiders’ Week 1 win at Carolina. He played in the second half but he was clearly affected by the injury. Ruggs was a big part of the Raiders’ game plan before he was hurt. Surely, that will be the case against the Saints as well.

With Ruggs playing, we will find out at 3:45 p.m. PT whether right tackle Trent Brown (calf) or linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski (pec) will be active for the game.
