Perhaps the Raiders will have their full offensive line intact soon.

ESPN reported guard Richie Incognito’s Achilles injury is not serious. Incognito played just 11 snaps in the Raiders’ great 34-24 win over the New Orleans Saints on Monday night. Rookie fourth-round pick John Simpson took over for Incognito and hung in there.

Gruden said Tuesday Simpson, from Clemson, struggled in practice last Wednesday, but he fought hard in the game

The Raiders also played without right tackle Trent Brown against the Saints. He played just three snaps in Week 1 before leaving with a calf injury. He hasn’t practiced or played since. Last week, there was a report that stated Brown’s injury won’t be long-term, so perhaps he will play this week at New England. Brown, who has missed six of 18 games since signing a $66 million deal with the Raiders last year, was replaced by Denzelle Good. The Raiders’ offensive line struggled in the first half, but improved as the game progressed against the Saints.

Injuries weren’t addressed in Jon Gruden’s press briefing Tuesday. Incognito, Brown and linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski, who didn’t play Monday because of a pec injury, will be monitored this week. Running back Josh Jacobs and receiver Hunter Renfrow both appeared to be banged up late in the game.

We should get more information on all of the injured players Wednesday after practice.
