The Raiders’ long list of injury concerns may have hit the next level with starting rookie cornerback Damon Arnette possibly facing a long stay on the injured reserve with a thumb injury.

The NFL Network reported that Arnette re-injured his fractured thumb on Sunday in the loss at New England.

If Arnette is going to have to miss time, veteran Nevin Lawson will likely take over and start with Trayvon Mullen. With Arnette out, the Raiders could bring back veteran Prince Amukamara if they choose.

The Raiders will need all the help they can get in the secondary with Buffalo’s Josh Allen and Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes on the schedule in the next two weeks.
