It is going to be a wild couple of days as the Las Vegas Raiders will cut down to the 53-player roster by 1 p.m. PT on Saturday.
We will have you covered with all of their moves throughout weekend. We’ll also include pertinent cuts around the league that may impact the Raiders.
In fact, we already have a big Raiders’ move that was unexpected to kick off the tracker. Buckle up ...
Monday, Sept. 7
3:30 p.m.: Marcus Mariota and Tanner were put on the injured reserve. Linebacker Kyle WIlber and tackle Sam Young added to the 53-man roster.
11:08 a.m.: Linebacker Kyle Wilber is back in the program.
Also, Kyle Wilber out here, presumably to replace Tanner Kuse on 53-man...#Raiders still need to make a move to add OT Sam Young.

Sunday, Sept. 6
2:04 p.m.: Sam Young has signed back with the Raiders. Nice backup tackle. So, there’s the No. 53 spot.
Torry Mctyer signed back to the Bengals’ active roster and Sam Young signed back with the Raiders’ active roster, per @RosenhausSports.

2:01 a.m.: Eric Kush is gone.
From the late transaction wire:
— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) September 6, 2020
#Raiders G Eric Kush and #49ers WR J.J. Nelson were released off IR with injury settlements #Seahawks waived DB Linden Stephens
1:21 p.m.: The Raiders are adding former Tampa Bay running back Dare Ogunbowale to the program, either on the 53-man roster or on the practice squad. They have a need at running back and an open roster spot with Tanner Muse being put on the IR. Ogunbowale is a big back they need,
Former Bucs running back Dare Ogunbowale is headed to Las Vegas and will be joining the Raiders. Could be just to the practice squad but could join the 53-man roster instead. First of Bucs' cuts to move on to another NFL team.

Saturday, Sept. 5
3:02 p.m.: If Daniel Carlson makes the team, the Raiders are clearly still looking at kickers.
#Raiders had a bunch of kickers in. Clearly, not completely sold on Carlson even if he makes the team. https://t.co/AB4gESrk6D
— Bill Williamson (@BWilliamsonNFL) September 5, 2020
2:50 p.m.: P.J. Hall made the Texans’ roster.
Former Raiders and Sam Houston State defensive tackle P.J. Hall made the Texans' initial 53-man roster with his work over the past few weeks after initially being held out of practice. He got into shape and impressed team in final couple scrimmages

12:45 p.m.: Some insight on the Bowden bombshell.
#Raiders weren’t loving Bowden’s character fit. They’re disappointed because of the value of the No. 80 pick and the plans they had for him.
— Bill Williamson (@BWilliamsonNFL) September 5, 2020
12:38 p.m.: Boom, there’s the surprise.
Put it all together and it looks like this:
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) September 5, 2020
— #Dolphins receive Lynn Bowden Jr and a 6th rounder.
— #Raiders receive Raekwon McMillan and a 5th rounder. https://t.co/x6kMRumlgu
12:02 p.m.: Camp pickup Datone Jones is cut, but should be back on practice squad. An example of a vet on the PS in this strange year.
The #Raiders are releasing DL Datone Jones, but are bringing the onetime #Packers first-round pick on the practice squad, per source.
— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) September 5, 2020
11:58 a.m.: Another linebacker bites the dust.
#Raiders released LB Kyle Emanuel, per source.
— Anthony Galaviz (@agalaviz_TheBee) September 5, 2020
11:21 a.m.: Linebacker Kyle Wilber will reportedly be cut.
#Raiders release LB Kyle Wilber
— Phil Jones (@PhilJonesNFL) September 5, 2020
11:04 a.m.: You don’t say?
#Raiders are planning on keeping WR Nelson Agholor on their 53-man roster, source said.
— Adam Caplan (@caplannfl) September 5, 2020
His versatility (able to back up multiple positions) helped him, plus he was healthy, which was an issue last year with the #Eagles.
10:50 a.m.: Something unexpected coming?
Was told there “probably” will be one remaining #Raiders surprise cut. We shall see.
— Bill Williamson (@BWilliamsonNFL) September 5, 2020
10:48 a.m.: I just got news on another undrafted rookie who was cut.
#Raiders are cutting undrafted rookie DT Mike Panasiuk. He is a strong candidate to land on practice squad. Team likes his energy,
— Bill Williamson (@BWilliamsonNFL) September 5, 2020
10:15 a.m.: Camp darling Javin White was cut. Not a big surprise. He still needs to develop and should land on practice squad. His future could still be bright. Newly signed Chris Smith is cut as well.
Raiders releasing LB Javin White. https://t.co/SJ8zP6IdHz
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) September 5, 2020
9:20 a.m.: DeAndre Washington is available if the Raiders want to bring him back,
Familiar face is available for #Raiders if the continue to tinker at RB. https://t.co/sSHlM0Ubpk
— Bill Williamson (@BWilliamsonNFL) September 5, 2020
8:23 a.m.: Some safeties are available for the Raiders if interested.
First surprise cut of the morning: Washington released former starting safety Sean Davis, who it gave a $2 million signing bonus this off-season, per source.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) September 5, 2020
Chiefs have released veteran safety Adrian Colbert, per source.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) September 5, 2020
Washington released OT Timon Parris.
7:12 a.m.: A reminder about the new practice squad rules, which is cool.
Not only are practice squads expanding to 16 players this year, but 6 of those spots can be occupied by vested veterans (4+ years of service).
— Field Yates (@FieldYates) September 5, 2020
An important note this weekend, as veterans let go today have a better chance of finding work again sooner.
Friday, Sept. 4
5:45 p.m.: Josh Rosen is available after being released by the Miami Dolphins and Jon Gruden loves quarterbacks. Just saying.
Good contract to claim: 2020 base salary only $750k (fully gtd). #Dolphins responsible for his $1.42m training camp roster bonus. https://t.co/9RWxfex2Js
— Adam Caplan (@caplannfl) September 5, 2020
2:02 p.m.: The cuts are coming as the Raiders have cut undrafted rookie cornerback Madre Harper. He is a candidate for the practice squad.
The #Raiders cut rookie CB Madre Harper, per source.
— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) September 4, 2020
9:10 a.m.: The Raiders have cut safety Damarious Randall, who was signed to play a key role. It’s another indication the Raiders will be relying heavily on their young defensive backs.
The #Raiders are releasing veteran S Damarious Randall, sources say. The team owes him a $1.5 million fully guaranteed base salary, though that’ll be reduced by whatever he gets from his new team.
