Here is the team’s 53-man roster:

Some thoughts ...

The bombshell: The Raiders traded third-round pick Lynn Bowden to the Dolphins.

Bowden was slow to develop and I was told the Raiders were worried about his character fit. It’s a big bummer because of the value of the No. 80 pick and the plans Jon Gruden had for him. But they move on. Still, it’s not something that you don’t want to see happen.

Javin White thoughts:
He had a good camp, but I was told he may have been a little over-hyped. He is still a good prospect. I’d expect the Raiders to get him back on the practice squad and continue to develop him,

Kyle Wilber thoughts:
The trade for Raekwon McMillan tightened things up. McMillan can play defense and special teams. Wilber is basically a special teamer and it cost him.

What’s next:
The Raiders can claim players cut by other teams Sunday. The positions they could add at include running back, offensive line and linebacker.
