We discuss an actual NFL game this week as our Raiders’ podcast drops.
I previewed Sunday’s Raiders’ season opener at the Carolina Panthers and explained why I think the Raiders are going to fly home happy after the first game of the season.
The Panthers have a new coaching staff, led by Matt Rhule, a first-time NFL head coach, and a new quarterback in Teddy Bridgewater. They also have four rookie defensive starters.
I think the Raiders are going to be able to take advantage as the two teams play in front of an empty stadium. I think the Raiders are the better, deeper team and I would be very surprised if they don’t win this game.
