As we have with other known candidates, let’s get to know Richard:
Age: 41
Last job:
He was defensive backs coach and passing game coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys in 2018-19.
DC experience:
He was the DC in Seattle from 2015-17,
Playing experience:
He was a third-round pick out of USC by the Seahawks. Richard ended his playing career with the Raiders in 2007.
Jon Gruden connection:
There is no direct connection, but he worked with defensive line coach Rod Marinelli in Dallas. If Richard doesn’t get the job, don’t be surprised if he is the defensive backs coach in Las Vegas, Richard worked with Gus Bradley in Seattle, so there is a fit here.
