The Las Vegas Raiders run game got a slight boost last week versus the Miami Dolphins, rushing for 142 yards on the day. The emergence of Peyton Barber has Jon Gruden confident the veteran running back can handle the load.
However, the return of Josh Jacobs gets closer as Gruden announced that he would be a game-time decision during his Saturday press conference.
Gruden threw in a "very questionable" later, which probably means Jacobs plays unless a pre-game workout doesn't go well. https://t.co/5LNCWYxLOe

Gruden deploying an 80% Josh Jacobs will help out this run game. The Los Angeles Chargers are one of the worst defenses in league with ranking 30th in Football Outsiders DVOA. Jacobs and Barber could force the Chargers to get out of their usual two high looks and bring more players inside the box.
The Raiders can take advantage of weakness to get their bell-cow back for a big division matchup.
