Without getting to far into which round players are likely to be drafted in, here are a few players that are options for us based on system fits are relative availability. Some I have mentioned, some I haven't. In no particular order:
DT Jordan Davis, Georgia
Davis is an immovable object in the middle who make sense as a Hank replacement. However, Davis is not necessarily quick off the ball and offers little in terms of pass rush. The question is how does Bradly view this limitation? Do you spend a first on a what would be a two downer?
OLB Christian Harris, Bama
Explosive three down LB that can do it all in the mold of a Legion of Boom LB. Does Littleton's contract prevent such a selection? If so, what a shame.
OT Daniel Faalele, Minnesota
Monstrous human being at 6'9", 380 pounds with natural bend. Literally too big to get around. Down from 400lbs but his conditioning could stand to improve some more.
DT Phildarian Mathis, Bama
Quicker than Davis, this guy is a perfect fit as an attacking NT; however, he might rank in no man's land, after the first round but before our second round pick.
OT Trevor Penning, Northern Iowa * favorite
Same school who produced impressive rookie OT Spencer Brown has another one in Penning. 6'7", 329 with an immensely strong grip. Penning will drive block your EDGE off the screen.
OT Darian Kinnard, Kentucky
Massive RT who is equally good run blocking and pass setting. Very Donald Penn like game, but could improve his block targeting and hand placement.
