I don’t pay attention to every NFL mock draft, because, well, there are so many of them.
But Daniel Jeremiah’s second mock draft, which dropped Tuesday, did stand out to me for two reasons.
One: Jeremiah — who is in Mike Mayock’s old role at the NFL Network — knows what the Raiders’ general manager looks for in prospects and he picked Michigan’s pass-rusher Kwity Paye at No. 17 for the Raiders.
And two: I haven’t seen Paye mocked this high very often, so it’s interesting.
Jeremiah definitely got the pass rusher part right, so let’s see if we hear more about Paye and the Raiders moving forward in draft season.
