It’s not a Raiders’ game, but the team will be in the spotlight on Thursday night and this community should get together for it.
ESPN will debut its latest 30 for 30 film, Al Davis vs. the NFL, at 6 p.m. PT.
Immediately following the premiere on ESPN, the documentary will be available on the network’s streaming service, ESPN+ and you can click here to subscribe for this and the full library of 30 for 30 films.
The film delves into Davis’ fight against the league, mainly commissioner Pete Rozelle, as he tried to move the team from Oakland to Los Angeles in the early 1980s.
I had the chance to see the film and I think you will like it. It’s a great Raiders’ history lesson and there are terrific clips of the team’s greatest teams.
It’s a fast-moving film that is easy to digest. This is your place to discuss it all.
Enjoy.
