The Las Vegas Raiders will need a new key to the defense in 2021.
It is being reported that defensive tackle Maliek Collins will sign a one-year deal with the Houston Texans worth $6 million. He signed the same deal with the Raiders last year.
The #Texans continue to add, signing DT Maliek Collins to a 1-year, $6M contract, per @DrewJRosenhaus.

Collins was a major disappointment in Las Vegas last season, which saw him reunited with his former position coach with the Dallas Cowboys, Rod Marinelli. In August, Raiders coach Jon Gruden said Collins would be the key to the Raiders’ defense.
Howver, he made no impact and had no sacks or quarterback pressures. The defense was awful in Las Vegas last season and Collins did nothing to help.
He is the first player to leave the Raiders in free agency. Fellow defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins is a player the Raiders would like to bring back. The Raiders will not miss Collins but Hankins would be a different story. He needs to be brought back.
