With NFL free agency officially starting in less than two hours, much of the heavy lifting has been done.
Still, there are some big-ticket names available as shown by this tweet from ESPN’s Field Yates:
Available FA's include:
— Field Yates (@FieldYates) March 17, 2021
▫️Kenny Golladay
▫️Curtis Samuel
▫️Will Fuller
▫️Jadeveon Clowney
▫️JuJu Smith-Schuster
▫️Haason Reddick
▫️Chris Carson
▫️David Andrews
▫️Kyle Van Noy
▫️Antonio Brown
▫️Richard Sherman
▫️Patrick Peterson
▫️Malcom Butler
▫️Jayon Brown
And more...
Of course, this list is fluid and can change at any time. But it shows there are still some good players on the market.
So far, the Raiders have agreed to terms with Baltimore Ravens pass-rusher Yannick Ngakoue, Buffalo Bills’ wide receiver John Brown, have agreed to keep linebacker Nicholas Morrow, and now they are keeping defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins.
Defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins is back with the #Raiders. 1-year deal.

Here is an estimated amount of remaining salary-cap for the Raiders (not counting Hankins’ deal):
Factoring in all the moves and anticipated releases of Gabe Jackson and Rodney Hudson, the @Raiders are close to $19 million under the cap. Depending on what happens with Marcus Mariota, that could grow by $10.7 million

Again, this number is fluid (and $5.3 million has to go to the draft class), but it shows the Raiders can still make some moves.
They have plenty more holes to fill — including on the defensive line, safety, cornerback and on the offensive line — so want to look for bargains.
The name on Yates’ list that stands out is San Francisco cornerback Richard Sherman. He played for new Raiders’ defensive coordinator in Seattle and he’d be a good fit in Las Vegas. He has been connected to the New Orleans Saints, but they don’t have a lot of salary cap room.
There are a lot of moving parts, but clearly the Raiders aren’t done yet.
