The Las Vegas Raiders will get a 2021 third-round pick from the Arizona Cardinals in a trade for center Rodney Hudson, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The Raiders will now have the No. 79 and No. 80 overall picks in the third round in the April 29-May 1 draft. (They sent a seventh round pick to Arizona as part of the Hudson deal.)

After news broke on Tuesday that the Raiders were going to release Hudson, a trade market quickly developed. Hudson’s departure is shocking because he is an elite player so many teams showed interest. The Cardinals stepped up and the Raiders get a solid draft pick in return.
