Nicholas Morrow was one of the Las Vegas Raiders’ best defensive players in 2020 and it was noticed both inside and outside of the organization.
There were two reports on Friday that indicate Morrow may have a strong free-agent market if he gets there. The Athletic is reporting that the Raiders are talking to Morrow, who signed as an undrafted free agent in 2017, about a contract extension before free agency starts March 17.

One of the few defensive players who played well last year.
And he echoed Nelson Agholor in questioning the team’s accountability. Raising the bar.
Yet, as longtime NFL reporter Alex Marvez points out, it is not a sure thing that Morrow will return to the Raiders even though he has talked to new defensive coordinator Gus Bradley about his potential role in the 2021 Las Vegas defense.
Nicholas told @RyanDLeaf & me last night on @SiriusXMNFL he met with DC Gus Bradley this week to discuss how he'd fit into new scheme. @raiders making push but spent lot on LBs last offseason & may not have enough $ to make it work, especially with interest elsewhere in Nicholas https://t.co/nABzNwcJKg

Morrow, one of the Raiders’ top free agents, is an athletic and active player and he would be a good fit with their new defense. But as Marvez pointed out, the Raiders spent big on free-agent linebackers Cory Littleton and Nick Kwiatkoski in 2020, so they may be limited in what they can offer Morrow.
So, while there is a chance he stays with the Raiders, Morrow could opt to test the open market to see what his ultimate value will be.
