The biggest ongoing story in the NFL right now has the Las Vegas Raiders’ roster fully involved.
On Thursday afternoon, the Raiders joined the growing list of rosters around the NFL that have decided to boycott the in-person portion of the offseason program, which begins virtually on Monday. That means there will be no large group workouts and minicamps for the second straight year.
The NFLPA has urged players to boycott and the union is citing concerns over the coronavirus pandemic as the reason for it. The entire offseason program was virtual last year.
Some Raiders players may participate in in-person field work this spring because of bonuses written into their contracts. But for the most part, the Raiders players will stay away from the in-person portion to support the union and instead meet virtually.
What are your thoughts?
