NFL supreme reporter Peter King reported that the Atlanta Falcons are receiving calls about longtime star wide receiver Julio Jones and they could deal him.
A trade would have to happen officially after June 1 because the Falcons, who are in a salary-cap crunch, would save much more cap money after that date. Of course, a trade agreement can happen at any time.
That leads to this question: Will the Las Vegas Raiders be interested? They have been connected to him in the past.
King reported that a future second-round pick may be the price tag.
Personally, I don’t think the Raiders should get in the Jones market. They are crowded at the position. Plus, Jones is 32 and has missed 14 games combined in the past three seasons. His contract is also too high for the Raiders.
So, a Jones pursuit by Las Vegas would be a pass for me. What do you think?
