Alec Ingold finally gets to be involved in the NFL draft.

How cool is that?

It has been announced that the Las Vegas Raiders’ fullback will be part of a group of current and former players from around the NFL to announce a draft pick by their franchise during the second day of the draft on Friday, which is when the second and third rounds are conducted.

Ingold, of course, joined the Raiders in 2019 an an undrafted free agent from Wisconsin. He has become a key part of the team both on and off the field. Ingold is a high-character person who represents the franchise well.

The fact that he was selected for this honor shows how regarded Ingold — who scored the Raiders’ first touchdown at Allegiant Stadium last year — is by the team and the league.

I couldn’t be happier for him. Enjoy your moment in the sun (or rain, if Cleveland weather doesn’t oblige again) sir.
